My name is Ofonime Idiong, and I run HOS. I have a passion for art and self expression, all which have been guided by my relationship with the divine. That is what drives this journey, and I am elated to share my gifts and skills.

I am driven to create for myself and am blessed with a variety of skills that I have been honing for almost a decade. Why choose one when I can do all. I am passionate about all which I offer, and decided to build a house to cultivate and share my passions. Thus is born House of Scarlett.

I’ve been divining for the last 6-7 years and have been invested in Astrology for the last 5. My family has been involved in divination work since pre-Nigerian colonization. I learned from my grandfathers who are my ancestral guides. And my mother who has been teaching me the divine arts since I was a child. But I didn’t begin my own journey till my sophomore year of college. My last name Idiong, means goddess of the farm, and my ancestors are noted in history books for using their divination against British Imperialism. Honored to carry that legacy.

I started designing jewelry and clothes 3-4 years ago. I was the kid who used to get made fun of for my outfits, because I didn’t have enough clothes growing up. I would mix and match awfully in an effort to try to still be fashionable while poor. Now all these years later, I am a designer, who hopes that my garments and jewelry are always a source of empowerment.

Graphic design, photography and art has been my longest investment of 8 years. I am an artist at heart. Divination and art are not so different. They are propelled through the same place in our spirit and hearts. Both highlight the need to connect ourselves to something more.

Most of my recent work has been of myself, but I’ve taken event portraits, head-shots, and more over the years, but boudoir is my favorite. I love being able to make people feel seen. Boudoir gives you the ability to connect with self love in a way that’s not always possible. Our photo sessions are self-love rituals.
